Our Guests reviews...
"We stayed at Skye View for 3 nights over New Year with the intention of completely unwinding after a very busy December and it was the perfect place. A beautiful, clean and welcoming house with a super comfy bed and everything we needed was provided. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back if we revisit the area."

"This cottage was the perfect quiet cosy getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Sophie provided lots of recommendations for places to go in the area so we weren’t short of things to do. The cottage itself was quiet, cosy and peaceful. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area."

"The cottage was always warm and cosy, the water hot when you needed it, and the bed was SO comfortable I wish I’d spent more time in it! A delightful place to rest our heads and revitalise our energies after a day visiting family and having adventures"

Our Story
Skye View is more than just a holiday rental, it’s a cherished second home for Sophie, Jonathan, our daughter Freya, and our crazy spaniel Finn. We’ve lovingly refurbished the entire place in 2024 to give us a cosy retreat to use when visiting our northern family & friends.
Follow our refurbishing story on instagram @SkyeView_Cottage and see how we transformed our little home and keep an eye out for future projects.

We are located in the quiet village of Upper Tean, Staffordshire with easy access to the M6 motorway via the A50.
Our nearest train stations are Blythe Bridge or Stoke-on-trent, both a short taxi or bus ride away.
